Hey folks!!! Been awhile, the blog is dusty but it’s for a good cause. This post is to let you know I have moved to Houston Texas where everything is bigger!!! It has been a pleasant experience so far and oh do I love the weather. I should get back in the swing of blogging again soon.

I had the opportunity of shooting alongside DOTUN in December 2010, Lagos Nigeria. This was my first time shooting a wedding outside the United States. Shooting a wedding in Nigeria has its pros and cons. Ultimately, I had fun and I will love to do it again! Oh yea,  I almost got beaten by an uninvited photographer who was always in my shot, his words ” who do you think you are, I have been a photographer before you were born ” . Awesome experience though, CHEERS

A friend is someone who you love, Juliet is all of the above and more;  a friend indeed.

Had another fabulous time second shooting with Dotun during Ima and Yemi’s wedding. There were a lot of things unique about  this wedding; I love the fact that the bride walked down the aisle mid way ALONE and both parents joined her while the oh so gorgeous groom sang a beautiful song as his blushing bride walked down.  At the reception, each pair of bride’s maid n groom’s man had their choreographed steps, then the newly weds nailed the show with theirs. Beautiful location, lovely couple, funny parents, good Dj + Guests that love to dance =  all night party. Thank God I didn’t lose a limb jumping over tables n chairs.

Now that was a wedding!

 Meet Omoyemi and Opeyemi. Omoyemi is a dedicated Jblaze fan.  She has been following me and my photography journey since it’s inception and has decided no one else would cover her wedding but moi.  I am honored to cover this pair, their love oozes with no effort and shooting them was fun. No one can tell the weather was in the 20′s when we had this shoot. Windy, cold air, freezing weather, awesome couple ……….. = well worth it. This is the first part of their engagement session. Counting down to the next session and their wedding…..
